Vayalar Award 2013 wins Prabhavarma for his work`Shyamamadhavam'
Noted
poet, lyricist, journalist and television presenter Prabhavarma bagged Vayalar
award 2013 for his work `Shyamamadhavam'. The award carries a sum of Rs.25,000,
a silver plate and certificate and will be presented to him on October 27. The
Vayalar Award is given for the best literary work in Malayalam.
The award was instituted in 1977 by the Vayalar Ramavarma Memorial Trust in memory of the poet and lyricist Vayalar Ramavarma.
Prabhavarma's poetry collection Arkkapoornima won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award in 1995.

ആണ് പുരസ്കാരം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത്. സൗപർണിക, അർക്കപൂർണിമ, ചന്ദനനാഴി, ആർദ്രം എന്നിവയാണ് പ്രഭാവർമ്മയുടെ കാവ്യസമാഹാരങ്ങൾ. ‘പാരായണത്തിന്റെ രീതിഭേദങ്ങൾ’ എന്ന പ്രബന്ധസമാഹാരവും
‘മലേഷ്യൻ ഡയറിക്കുറിപ്പുകൾ’ എന്ന യാത്രാവിവരണവും പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്‌. സാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമി അവാർഡ്, മഹാകവി പി പുരസ്കാരം,
ചങ്ങമ്പുഴ അവാർഡ്, കൃഷ്‌ണഗീതി പുരസ്കാരം, വൈലോപ്പിളളി അവാർഡ,
